Hanoi:“People will probably wonder why Hanoi, the place where I was born. But when I went to many places and experienced living away from Hanoi for a few months, I realized that I always miss it and cannot leave it. The cuisine, the culture and the weather of Hanoi made me crave it and miss it when I worked in the South and the West for 2 months,” Dinh Minh shared.

About transportation:Dinh Minh always prefers to choose a motorbike to travel to the destination to go to many places and be more proactive. For the Northern locations, he will travel by overnight sleeper bus from Hanoi and arrive at the destination the next morning. The rented motorbike will be delivered to the location, especially he will choose a manual motorbike to travel on mountain passes.
Schedule, accommodation:Dinh Minh compiled destination information from reviews of previous travelers on social networks. Then, he arranged an itinerary with destinations that matched the purpose of the trip.

Regarding accommodation, Dinh Minh often looks for the best rooms at affordable prices through booking applications such as Traveloka, Agoda, Airbnb... In addition, he also searches through Google Maps by looking at the keywords homestay, motel and the name of the destination. Then he will choose a place to stay that is well-rated and convenient to travel to, then contact the reception directly and negotiate the room price.
Cuisine:This is the second priority after taking photos when Dinh Minh travels, discovering the typical dishes of that locality. His experience is that to eat many delicious dishes and not waste anything, you should go in groups of 2-4 people. You should only order one dish at a time, and order more later if the dish is delicious.

Sharing about the difficulties that Dinh Minh encountered during his trips, he said: “My most memorable memory was getting seasick when traveling to Phu Quy Island. I went to the island on a rough day with high waves, so that was the first time I got seasick. The 2 hours on the boat never felt so long, I didn’t dare open my eyes or stand up to move. When the boat docked, I went back to my homestay and slept all afternoon that day.”
Notes for trips
You should save the destinations you need to check-in to the list on Google Maps by province to plan your schedule conveniently, without fear of missing out. If you like taking photos, you can refer to reviews of famous travel bloggers, beautiful photos and share the location and shooting angle before moving to the next destination.
“For me, the key to a successful trip is the companions. I am lucky that in all my past trips I have had compatible companions who share the same interests,” Dinh Minh added.
