Located in a small alley off Dao Tan Street, Cao Cao Cafe is a plant shop combined with a coffee shop, featuring a sun-drenched garden courtyard. It's a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing "hideaway." Besides enjoying coffee, you can also have your pots painted or buy lovely plants to decorate your desk or give as gifts to friends.
The Grasshopper Shop initially sold mainly ornamental plants, but gradually expanded to sell coffee as well.
The owner is a lover of plants and relaxation, and wants to share that with their customers.
Kieu Trang, the owner of Cao Cao Cafe, shared: “I have a passion for plants, and my balcony is so full of them that there’s no more room. That’s why I decided to open Cao Cao Cafe. Initially, we mainly sold plants, but later we expanded to selling coffee. In addition, Cao Cao also offers a plant pot painting service; you can buy plants to grow or take the pots home to decorate. I hope everyone who comes here will feel relaxed and comfortable in a refreshing, natural environment.”
Despite its modest size, the Grasshopper Shop is arranged in a scientific and eye-catching way, divided into two areas: indoor and outdoor. The cool, green courtyard, bathed in golden sunlight, creates a relaxing atmosphere for visitors. Inside, the shop has sofas and displays handmade crafts, decorations, and small statues carefully selected by the owner. In addition, there's a flower pot painting activity; after painting, customers can choose their own plants and grow them.

Although the cafe only has one floor, both the indoor and outdoor spaces are spacious.

In addition, the cafe also sells plants, with shelves full of succulents, ferns, cacti, etc., inviting customers to visit. The drink menu at Cao Cao Cafe is quite unique and diverse, offering a wide variety of teas and coffees... The most popular drink among tourists is the fruit tea, due to its attractive presentation.
"I enjoy creating unique and high-quality drinks. I come up with my own recipes, mix and blend them to match the mood of the cafe, based on fundamental principles. The drinks will be slightly unusual and not like those commonly found in other cafes on the market," Kiều Trang said.
Fruit teas are decorated in a unique way, and their flavors are also very distinctive.
