Because this year's Hung Kings Commemoration Day coincides with the April 30th and May 1st holidays, with an extended holiday period (6 days), a very large number of visitors are expected to visit the Hung Kings Temple historical site, estimated at around 6-7 million people.
For 10 days, from the 1st to the 10th of March (Lunar Calendar), the Organizing Committee will offer free entry to visitors. Currently, on regular days, visitors to the Hung Temple historical site pay 10,000 VND per person for entry, with a 50% discount for children and the elderly.
The Management Board of the historical site has also announced a hotline number, posted on notices and publicly displayed at car and motorbike parking areas in many locations around Hung Temple. The hotline numbers are: 0210.3860026 or 0210.6551666. In cases of tourists being overcharged, children or elderly people getting lost, theft, etc., can call the hotline for assistance.
To ensure security, the Phu Tho Provincial Police are expected to mobilize approximately 1,000 officers and soldiers to participate in the organization of the event. The Hung Temple Relic Management Board is expected to mobilize about 4,000 people, along with other support forces of about 1,500 people.
