In the early days of March, when the warmth of spring begins to spread, the community tourism spot at the head of the Fatherland seems to be wearing a new, colorful coat. No longer the majestic, wild beauty that is often seen, this place suddenly becomes gentler and more poetic than ever.
Lo Lo Chai, a small village nestled at the foot of Lung Cu flagpole, the northernmost point of the country, belongs to Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province. This place is not only a destination marking the sacred sovereignty of the country, but also a place to preserve the unique traditional cultural values of the Lo Lo people. The ancient rammed earth houses, built for many generations, stand tall in the mountains and forests, like historical witnesses, telling the story of an ethnic community rich in identity.
In these years, Lo Lo Chai village has become famous and attracted many tourists.
In the past three years, Lo Lo Chai has been recognized as a Cultural Tourism Village, opening its doors to welcome visitors from all over the world. The wild, rustic beauty of the village, along with the friendliness and hospitality of the local people, has created a special attraction, making visitors surprised and captivated. Many people compare Lo Lo Chai to the famous Van Mieu village (Yunnan province, China) in the movie "Going to the wind", an interesting comparison, showing the hidden beauty of this small village.
In the early days of March, when spring knocks on the door, the whole Lo Lo Chai seems to awaken from a long winter sleep. Wild peach blossoms, a typical flower of the rocky plateau, bloom brilliantly, dyeing the whole space pink.
Pink covers this small village

Originally, the gardens of local people and the roadsides in Lo Lo Chai were decorated with a harmonious blend of peach, plum and pear flowers. These flowers were initially planted by villagers not for tourism purposes. However, as the demand of tourists increased, many households decided to expand their planting areas, creating unique miniature landscapes for tourists to visit and take photos.
Tourists flock here to take photos capturing the moment the peach blossoms bloom.

In early March, the peach blossoms in Lo Lo Chai are at their most beautiful. The flowers bloom evenly, the petals are strong and full of vitality. This is a single peach blossom with five petals, light pink, with a delicate and gentle beauty. The closer you look, the more clearly you can feel the pure beauty of this flower.
The brilliant pink color of peach blossoms blooming, standing out against the warm yellow walls of ancient rammed earth houses, creates a beautiful scene that makes people's hearts flutter.

The already majestic and imposing rammed earth houses are now adorned with the bright pink color of peach blossoms, becoming softer and more graceful than ever. Pink color makes many people fascinated

According to many local tour guides, on weekends, Lo Lo Chai becomes extremely bustling, the homestays are all full. If you want to enjoy the peaceful space and stay away from the noise, visitors should choose to visit on weekdays.
According to statistics in early 2025 of the People's Committee of Dong Van district, Lo Lo Chai village has 120 households, of which 45 households operate homestays. In addition, there are many households providing other services such as restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The number of guests staying in the village on weekends and holidays is usually about 700 people, while the number of visitors during the day is on average from 250 to 350.
Because of this beautiful scenery, it has attracted a large number of tourists to come here.
At this time, the pure white pear flowers, with fragile petals, larger than plum blossoms, grow in clusters, swaying in the wind, creating a poetic, lyrical scene. Under the bright yellow sunlight, the pure white pear flower clusters become even more shimmering and magical, creating beautiful photos, making visitors amazed and captivated.

The weather in Ha Giang is currently very favorable for tourism activities. Daytime temperatures range from 17 to 25 degrees Celsius, warm and pleasant, very suitable for sightseeing and exploration. Flowers such as peach and pear are expected to bloom for about two more weeks. After that, the cotton flowers (cotton trees) will continue to bloom, creating a brilliant, colorful scene. Cotton flowers often bloom most in the area along the Nho Que River, where there are steep, majestic cliffs, creating a beautiful natural picture.
The development of community tourism has brought positive changes to Lo Lo Chai. Not only does it help increase income for local people, tourism also contributes to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the Lo Lo people.
