In early March, as the warmth of spring begins to spread, this community-based tourism destination at the northernmost point of the country seems to be adorned with a vibrant new coat of color. No longer possessing the majestic, wild beauty often seen, it suddenly becomes gentler and more poetic than ever before.
Lo Lo Chai, a small village nestled at the foot of the Lung Cu flagpole, the northernmost point of Vietnam, is located in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province. It is not only a destination marking the sacred sovereignty of the country, but also a place preserving the unique traditional cultural values of the Lo Lo people. Ancient rammed-earth houses, built for generations, stand majestically amidst the mountains and forests, serving as historical witnesses, telling the story of a community rich in identity.
In recent years, Lo Lo Chai village has become famous and attracts many tourists.
Over the past three years, Lo Lo Chai has been recognized as a Cultural Tourism Village, opening its doors to visitors from all over. The village's pristine, rustic beauty, along with the friendliness and hospitality of the local people, has created a special attraction, leaving visitors amazed and captivated. Many even compare Lo Lo Chai to the famous Yunmiao Village (Yunnan Province, China) featured in the film "Go to Where the Wind Blows," an interesting comparison that highlights the hidden beauty of this small village.
In early March, as spring arrives, the entire Lo Lo Chai region seems to awaken from its long winter slumber. Wild peach blossoms, a characteristic flower of the rocky plateau, burst into vibrant bloom, painting the entire landscape pink.
A pink hue blankets this small village.

Originally, the gardens of the villagers and the roadsides in Lo Lo Chai were adorned with a harmonious blend of peach, plum, and pear blossoms. These flowers were initially planted by the villagers not for tourism purposes. However, as the demand from tourists increased, many households decided to expand their planting areas, creating unique landscapes for visitors to admire and take photos.
Tourists flock here to take photos capturing the moment the peach blossoms burst into bloom.

The weather in Ha Giang is currently very favorable for tourism activities. Daytime temperatures range from 17 to 25 degrees Celsius, warm and pleasant, ideal for sightseeing and exploration. Flowers such as peach and pear blossoms are expected to continue blooming for about two more weeks. After that, kapok flowers will bloom, creating a vibrant and colorful landscape. Kapok flowers are most abundant along the Nho Que River, where the majestic, towering cliffs create a stunning natural scene.
