On June 12, a tourist boat carrying 28 tourists and 1 tour guide suddenly capsized in the suburbs of New York state, killing 1 person and injuring about 10 others.
According to local media, the cause of the capsize was due to loss of balance while moving through the Lockport Cave area in the city of the same name. The victim was a 60-year-old man.
According to the head of the Lockport Fire Department, rescuers rescued 16 people and the injured were taken to the hospital.
Chinese fishing boat capsizes in Indian Ocean, 39 people missing
Earlier, on April 29, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines confirmed that one sailor was killed and three others were missing in a collision between two ships off the coast of Corregidor Island in the Philippines. These sailors were all Chinese.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said the accident left two people dead.
Then in May, a Chinese fishing vessel named “Lu Peng Yuan Yu 028” capsized in the central Indian Ocean.
