The statistics from recent years have proven the remarkable growth of the hospitality and food and beverage industry. According to a report by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, in the first quarter of 2019 alone, the tourism industry welcomed approximately 4,500,114 international visitors, an increase of 7.0% compared to the same period in 2018.

According to the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, the hospitality and food and beverage (F&B) service market in Vietnam needs approximately 40,000 additional workers each year, but currently only about 15,000 are being supplied. The high demand for recruitment coupled with insufficient resources is intensifying competition among businesses.

The Hospitality Job Fair 2019 is an opportunity to connect employers and potential candidates to address the "labor shortage" in the hospitality and food & beverage industry, especially with the upcoming peak tourist season. The event will include key activities such as: Direct consultations and interviews with employers (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM); Show Contest - Candidates showcase their bartending skills to impress employers (10:00 AM – 10:30 AM); Private Workshop - Leading experts in the hospitality and food & beverage industry share insights on the nature of the profession and application experiences (1:30 PM – 3:30 PM).

In 2018, the Hospitality Job Fair brought together more than 30 reputable businesses in the industry, opening up over 2,500 attractive job opportunities for more than 1,500 applicants. Building on that success, the 2019 Hospitality Job Fair continues to be a reputable bridge between employers and candidates, while contributing to the development of the hospitality and food and beverage industry to a new level.
