Street Art - New Trend in Charles & Keith Spring Summer 2017 Collection

20/01/2017

Charles & Keith Spring Summer 2017 is a journey of exploration into creativity and how the collection has inspired breakthroughs and attempts at new designs.

Produced by photographer Glen Luchford, choreographer Stephen Galloway, and models Ally Ertel and Peyton Knight, the vibrant films present a very different perspective of ourselves, making us realize that art can easily convey what words cannot.

Inspired by the artists' workplaces where the development of art movements and the wonders that go into completing a work or a collection are born, we are taken into the art-filled spaces that belong to the minds working in the creative field.

The collection emphasizes details, decorative elements and textile techniques to create a vivid story, without limits in creativity. It is the difference in diverse personalities, from comfortable to vibrant, multi-colored, that inspires contrasting color blocks, from soft to impressive, personality with aesthetic metal accents.

The soft and sweet pastel palette seems to be upgraded in more shades, and developed on loafers, flats with straps and bags with metal spikes, bringing a strong, passionate feminine look.

Creativity is on full display through a rich, playful color palette, with textures and decorative elements such as chains, hooks, hand-crafted tassels, geometric embellishments, hand-embroidered embroidery and embossed leather stitching, all of which can be found easily on mules, open-toe heels and open-toe boots.

In line with the theme of the core products, the new season collection also introduces a line of accessories such as mini crossbody bags, tassel drop earrings and bracelets. The products will be officially launched on the official website Charlekeith.com
