Street art - A new trend in Charles & Keith's Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

20/01/2017

Charles & Keith Spring/Summer 2017 was a journey of discovery into creativity and how the collection inspired breakthroughs and endeavors in new designs.

Produced by photographer Glen Luchford, choreographer Stephen Galloway, and models Ally Ertel and Peyton Knight, this vibrant film offers a very different perspective on oneself, making us realize that art can easily convey what words cannot.

Inspired by the workspaces of artists, where art movements flourish and meticulous craftsmanship is involved in perfecting a work or collection, we are transported into an art-filled space belonging to creative minds.

The collection emphasizes details, decorative elements, and textile techniques to create a vibrant, limitless narrative of creativity. The diverse range of personalities, from relaxed to lively and colorful, inspires contrasting color palettes, from soft to striking and distinctive, with aesthetically pleasing metallic accents.

The soft and sweet pastel color palette seems to be enhanced in intensity and developed on loafers, strappy flats, and bags embellished with metallic spikes, creating a powerfully feminine and captivating look.

Creativity is fully displayed through playful and rich color palettes, along with design textures and decorative elements such as chains, hooks, handcrafted tassels, geometric jewelry details, hand embroidery, and raised leather stitching, all easily found on mule shoes, open-toe heels, and open-heeled boots.

In line with the theme of the featured products, the new season's collection also introduces a range of accessories such as mini crossbody bags, tassel dangle earrings, and bracelets. These products will be officially launched on the official website Charlekeith.com.
