The Nghinh Phong Tower is part of the Nghinh Phong Square architectural complex, a future iconic landmark for Phu Yen tourism. Inspired by the legend of "The Dragon and the Immortal," the tower is divided into two parts: two tall tower columns symbolizing Au Co and Lac Long Quan, and at the base of each column are 50 stacked stone blocks, representing the 100 children separated from their parents, who went to the mountains and the sea.
The Lac Long Quan tower is 35 meters high, while the shorter Au Co tower stands parallel to it.
The most distinctive feature of the Nghinh Phong Tower's architecture is the gap, just large enough for two people to stand between the two tower columns. Whenever the wind blows through this gap, the two people will hear natural sounds like music, and surely, no two pieces of music will ever be repeated.
Between the two tallest towers lies an open space where visitors can admire the view and listen to the sounds of nature.
Address: Nghinh Phong Square, intersection of Doc Lap and Nguyen Huu Tho streets, Tuy Hoa.
