The House of Ba Com Ma is a story full of love and family bonding. The house was built in 1992, located peacefully in a small fishing village in Trung Luong hamlet, Cat Tien commune, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province.
"This is where my grandparents, parents and I were born, grew up and shared many memories together. For my family, this house is not just a place to live but also a symbol of tradition, love and family reunion," said Mr. Vuong, son of Ba Doi and Ma Suong. From that sentiment, the idea of turning Nha Ba Com Ma into a homestay was born, with the desire to bring everyone a peaceful, familiar feeling like at home.

“After many years of traveling and experiencing the beautiful beaches of the Central region, I realized that the beauty of my homeland is not inferior to any other place. Every time I return, looking at the long coastline with undulating waves, I feel like my hometown contains everything I love in other places. From there, I came up with the idea of renovating my family house, turning it into a place where tourists can come to relax, enjoy the atmosphere of the coastal village and cozy meals. I started by taking advantage of the empty rooms of the house, both to earn extra income and to create a special place, a second home for those who love nature and like to experience the simple feeling when returning to their family,” said Mr. Vuong.

“Ba Com Ma’s House” is a simple name but contains many deep emotions and meanings. The house belongs to dad, where dad builds, takes care of, and preserves every little corner; and the rice belongs to mom, it is the meals mom cooks, it is mom’s thoughtfulness and devotion in each dish. The name “Ba Com Ma’s House” was born from the desire to bring everyone a sense of familiarity, to eat family meals, without needing to be polite or distant. In modern life, family meals have gradually become a luxury for many people, and “Ba Com Ma’s House” wants to be a place to help everyone find the simple, warm joy in every meal.

Ba Com Ma's house has an area of about 200 m² with five rooms, including one family room and four double rooms. This homestay is not designed in a modern or sophisticated style but retains the rustic look of a traditional house. It is that simplicity that creates the special point, when coming here, visitors will feel like they are really at home, no longer a guest but a member of the family. Everyone can comfortably have meals with Ba Doi and Ma Suong, chat intimately and naturally like close friends.
When coming to Nha Ba Com Ma, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the peaceful, familiar feeling of a small house located in the middle of a coastal village. It is a pleasant feeling when immersing yourself in the cool blue sea water, participating in activities such as SUP rowing, diving to see coral and especially catching sea crabs at night.

Mr. Vuong said: “On the first day when I started doing homestay, there were many memorable memories. I felt happy when I saw my family's house take on a new look, more beautiful, more vibrant. Not only that, what made me happiest was seeing my parents have more income, life became more enjoyable when they got to meet many people from all over. Nha Ba Com Ma also contributed to bringing guests a meaningful trip, helping them find a sense of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of life. The moments of sharing and chatting with guests have become a precious part of my life."
Mr. Vuong himself hopes that Nha Ba Com Ma will not only be a homestay but will become a real home for everyone who comes here. This will be a place where people can relax, breathe the fresh sea air, feel the peace and find simple joy, something that has perhaps been forgotten in the midst of a stressful and busy life out there. He wants everyone who comes here to be able to shake off stress, find a bit of peace and true joy from the small, simple things that this place brings.
