In 2018, the number of Vietnamese visitors to Japan exceeded 380,000 people. Notably, from January to August 2019 alone, more than 338,000 Vietnamese people came to Japan, an increase of more than 28.9% over the same period last year. It can be said that this is a welcome development.
On this occasion, the Japan Tourism Promotion Agency in Vietnam will organize Visit Japan Seminar & Business Meeting 2019 in Hanoi on October 11 at Melia Hotel. This is a seminar and business meeting for Japanese organizations operating in the tourism sector, international visitors to Japan and travel companies in Vietnam, aiming to attract more Vietnamese tourists to Japan.
More than 50 units from local government agencies, Japanese travel and hotel companies and Vietnamese travel companies are expected to attend the workshop.
Japan is one of the top choices of Vietnamese tourists.
Through the workshop, representatives of Japan and Vietnam will discuss and come up with contents such as what Vietnamese tourists like, what food they want to enjoy or what they want to experience when coming to Japan... This exchange aims to help the Japanese side understand the needs of Vietnamese tourists in order to provide better services. The program is also an opportunity for the governments and businesses of the two countries to understand and exchange experiences to increase the effectiveness of tourism activities between the two countries.
