In 2018, the number of Vietnamese visitors to Japan exceeded 380,000. Notably, in the period from January to August 2019 alone, more than 338,000 Vietnamese people visited Japan, an increase of over 28.9% compared to the same period last year. This is certainly a welcome development.
On this occasion, the Japan Tourism Agency in Vietnam will organize the Visit Japan Seminar & Business Meeting 2019 in Hanoi on October 11th at the Melia Hotel. This is a seminar and business meeting for Japanese organizations working in the tourism sector, international visitors to Japan, and travel companies in Vietnam, aiming to further attract Vietnamese tourists to Japan.
The workshop is expected to be attended by more than 50 participants from local government agencies, Japanese travel companies, hotels, and Vietnamese travel companies.
Japan is one of the top choices for Vietnamese tourists.
Through this workshop, representatives from Japan and Vietnam will discuss topics such as what Vietnamese tourists like, what food they want to enjoy, and what experiences they want to have when visiting Japan. This exchange aims to help the Japanese side understand the needs of Vietnamese tourists in order to provide better services. The program also provides an opportunity for the governments and businesses of both countries to learn from each other and exchange experiences to enhance the effectiveness of tourism activities between the two countries.
Japan is a country with a unique culture, boasting numerous historical sites, magnificent natural landscapes, and a distinctive culinary tradition. The "Land of the Rising Sun" has always been a very attractive destination for many people, and for Vietnamese people in particular.
