The program was attended by leaders from the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Vietnam Banking Association, the Vietnam Association of Science and Economics, as well as economic experts, business representatives, and consumers.

Within the framework of the Announcement & Recognition Ceremony of the Top 50 Trusted Products and Services in Vietnam 2023, with the theme "Essential and Practical - Pioneering Breakthroughs," each honored product or service is proof of the trend of "buying essential goods, spending money on practical services" - from both the consumer and business perspectives. In addition, this is also an opportunity for businesses to share new technologies and support each other in building a sustainable retail market.

The Vietnam Consumer Trust Program is an annual event initiated and maintained by the Vietnam Economic Times, now the Vietnam Economic Magazine, since 2006. This program gathers consumer opinions on product quality, after-sales service, consumer choices, and future plans regarding the purchase and use of consumer goods and services through the publications of the Vietnam Economic Magazine.

The program also includes survey activities, information dissemination, and communication through publications and special features of the Vietnam Economic Times – VnEconomy, combined with in-depth seminars and discussions. In 2023, the Vietnam Trusted Consumer Program celebrated 17 years on its journey of creating and developing a connected community between manufacturers, distributors of products and services, and Vietnamese consumers.

The program recognizes and honors reputable and high-quality product and service brands that meet national and international standards, contribute to the environment and public health, and are trusted and chosen by consumers, such as: SHB, Sacombank, Lock&Lock, Gojek, Vinfast, Flamingo Cat Ba, Furama Resort Da Nang, Emeralda Tam Coc, Alba Wellness Valley, and New World Hoiana Beach Resort.

In addition to the top impressive products of 2023, the Top 50 Trusted Products and Services in Vietnam 2023 are divided into 5 main industry groups:

- Healthcare – wellness services

- Banking, Finance, Insurance, Securities

- Agricultural products, Food, Beverages

- Building materials, Interior and exterior furnishings, Household appliances

- Technology products and services
