Hawa Mahal, meaning "Palace of Winds," was built in 1799 as an extension of the Royal Palace in the "pink city" of Jaipur. Hawa Mahal boasts 953 windows. These beautifully carved, honeycomb-shaped window frames allow wind to flow through the building, making it a perfect summer palace.
