This restaurant boasts a romantic location and panoramic ocean views, along with a diverse menu of fresh seafood. All of these factors make it a must-visit destination for travelers in Africa. The Rock only has 12 tables. The service is quick and friendly. If you plan to dine here, reservations are recommended, and prices are quite high. However, the price is considered reasonable for the experience you'll receive.

As mentioned above, the restaurant is built on a rock jutting out of the sea, which is actually a small tidal island. It only becomes an island during high tide. Therefore, there will be a short period of time during the day when you can reach it by boat. When the tide is low, you can walk to the restaurant to dine, as shown in the photos below.

The advice is to dine at the restaurant during high tide; gazing out at the vast ocean is certainly a special experience. Even better, if possible, come during low tide. At that time, you can observe the changing seascape as the tide rises and submerges the rocks.
