During a trip back to his hometown in Hoai Hai, Binh Dinh, Vien Dieu Phat (born 1990, Saigon) embarked on a short exploration of lesser-known locations in the Nẫu region. "The pristine beauty and peaceful scenery of these destinations deserve to be more widely known when people talk about tourism in Binh Dinh," photographer Dieu Phat shared with Travellive.
Visiting Hoai Hai, you'll find a captivating, unspoiled beauty.
Viewed from above, Hoai Hai resembles a long, narrow sword, surrounded by pristine scenery and strangely shaped rocks, creating a unique charm for this destination. Parallel to the undulating rocky beaches are small mountains, approximately 200 meters above sea level. From here, visitors can admire the panoramic view of the dreamy, peaceful beauty of Hoai Hai.

A breathtakingly pristine landscape in Hoai Hai, Binh Dinh.
Hoai Hai rocky outcrop remains largely undeveloped for tourism, preserving the pristine simplicity of a natural landscape where mountains and sea blend harmoniously. Visiting Hoai Hai allows you to immerse yourself in the gentle sound of the waves, watch the fishing boats bobbing offshore with white foam crashing against the rocks, and enjoy swimming, sightseeing, and picnicking in this area – nothing beats relaxation. While there aren't many shops or restaurants here, there are a few that serve delicious, fresh seafood dishes.

Along the Lo Dieu pass, admire the scenic views of the Nẫu region.
If you love scenic routes, exploring Lo Dieu Pass is an unmissable activity when traveling in Binh Dinh. The pass, though short, is winding with majestic, sheer cliffs and lush green acacia and melaleuca forests stretching as far as the eye can see... captivating those who love conquering challenging roads and are passionate about photography. Lo Dieu Pass is quite steep and relatively uncrowded, so you need to prepare your vehicle well and check your fuel level before crossing the pass.
The hills are lined with lush green acacia trees along the Lo Dieu pass.
Covered in lush greenery along the roadside, this route offers a pleasantly cool and refreshing experience. While in Da Lat, visitors can enjoy winding mountain passes and immerse themselves in the shade of pine-covered hills, Hoai Nhon offers a similar experience through the Lo Dieu pass, with its vibrant green acacia forests. The further you go, the more impressive the scenery becomes, with verdant mountains on one side and the vast, azure sea stretching to the horizon on the other.

Dragon's Head Cape, a natural wonder.
It is named as such because the mountain's shape closely resembles a giant dragon, a magnificent creation of nature for this heroic land. Viewed from above, Vi Rong Cape stands proudly amidst the vast ocean waves. It rises high, stretching out to the open sea, unyielding in the face of the powerful waves crashing against the rocky cliffs. Within the mountain lies a cave that extends to the sea, which you can explore to admire the incredibly vibrant natural scenery.

The most impressive viewpoint at Vi Rong Cape.
Besides conquering the mountain and enjoying the magnificent scenery of Vi Rong Cape in Binh Dinh, don't forget to spend time swimming at the beach at the foot of the mountain. With long stretches of sand and crystal-clear water, you can have endless fun. There are also small rocks near the shore where you can sit and relax, enjoying the gentle sounds of the sea, and take beautiful photos at Vi Rong Cape.
Walking around My Binh Lake, I feel a sense of peace.
Located approximately 22 km from the center of Bong Son town (Hoai Nhon district), in Hoai Phu commune, My Binh Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province. Previously, My Binh Lake only provided water for agricultural production; however, thanks to its peaceful scenery and fresh air, it has become increasingly well-known and visited.

"During the dry season, from April to September, visitors can go down to the lake to stroll around and breathe in the peaceful atmosphere. But during the rainy season, the water level rises, and you can only admire it from above," Vien Dieu Phat shared.
My Binh Lake.
The area surrounding My Binh Lake is spacious and airy, its calm, tranquil surface like a giant mirror reflecting everything. The lush green hills create a picturesque landscape. Visitors typically come to the lake in the early morning to watch the sunrise or at sunset. Visiting during these times offers a pleasant experience with cool air and perfect lighting for capturing stunning photographs.
