From December 1, 2020 to January 3, 2021, the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village organized a cultural space and activities of ethnic groups in villages with the theme "Village and the Colors of Flowers". The event brought together approximately 100 people from 16 ethnic groups across the three regions of the country.
If you are interested in or want your children to explore the unique folk art forms of the ethnic groups, you can spend the next weekend (1-2 days) here. The highlight of the event is the "Highland Market Welcoming Spring 2021," recreating a vibrant cultural space on December 31st and January 1-3rd, 2021.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Hmong ethnic group's Khen dance performance (Bac Kan), watch the Lu ethnic group (Lai Chau) reenact the Cam Muong festival, or the Khu Su Cha Tet festival of the Ha Nhi ethnic group (Dien Bien), as well as puppet shows, handicrafts, folk songs and dances, and more.
Many experiential activities are available at the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village.
Quang Ninh will host the Binh Lieu Flower Festival on December 12th with activities such as paragliding ("Flying over the forest of rhododendrons"), a bicycle race, etc. You should combine this with a visit to the border road where white reeds bloom – a highlight of Binh Lieu tourism in recent times.
Visitors to Quang Ninh at the end of the year can also enjoy fragrant tea and clean agricultural products at the 3rd Golden Flower Tea Festival. The festival takes place on December 26th and 27th in Nam Son commune, Ba Che district, where the Ban Vuong temple relic is located.
Central region
The 2nd Muong Ethnic Culture Festival took place from December 10-12 at Lam Son Square, Thanh Hoa City. Many activities showcased the unique culture of the Muong ethnic group, including: a folk art festival, traditional costume performances, traditional Muong weaving demonstrations, gong and drum performances, and presentations on Muong cultural rituals. Admission to the festival was free.

In Hue, many vibrant festival events are taking place, such as the Ao Dai Festival and Hue Food Festival 2020 (December 18-20), the Hue Lion Dance Festival 2020 (December 30), and the Countdown program on the night of December 31.
The Ao Dai Festival and Hue Food Festival 2020 took place in the area of the wooden pedestrian bridge, Nguyen Dinh Chieu pedestrian street; Hue City Cultural, Information and Sports Center; Tu Tuong Park; Diem Phung Thi art space and Phan Boi Chau Park.
Hue Ao Dai Festival
Besides showcasing the Nhat Binh and Ngu Than ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dresses), the festival also features performances of Hue folk songs and chants, folk dramas, introductions to the finest royal cuisine, and a skillful and spectacular lion and dragon dance performance.
Southern
From December 19-27, 2020, in Vung Tau, food lovers will want to participate in the Vung Tau Beach Food Week 2020. Banh khot (miniature savory pancakes), banh hoi (rice vermicelli), fish salad, seafood... will be widely showcased, accompanied by a series of events such as: a running and mountain climbing race, Christmas celebrations, and welcoming the New Year 2021, promising a memorable holiday for visitors.
