Bustling Christmas atmosphere on Hang Ma Street

Christmas is still more than a month away, but the Christmas atmosphere has already spread throughout the streets of Hanoi. And of course, like every other holiday of the year, Hang Ma is always the place that attracts the most visitors and shoppers for decorations in the capital.

Along the street are familiar items: pine trees, wreaths, Santa Claus, reindeer, snowmen… with diverse sizes, designs and prices suitable for everyone. However, it is not until early December, when the shops all change their clothes, that Hang Ma Street becomes the most sparkling.

This year, due to the impact of the epidemic, Hanoi is almost devoid of foreign tourists, but that does not make Christmas any sadder because Vietnamese people, especially young people, are very familiar with this special holiday.
