The Christmas atmosphere is vibrant on Hang Ma Street.

Christmas is still more than a month away, but the festive spirit is already spreading throughout Hanoi's streets. And of course, like every other holiday season, Hang Ma Street is always the most popular place for visitors and shoppers of Christmas decorations in the capital.

Along the street are familiar items: Christmas trees, wreaths, Santa Claus figures, reindeer, snowmen… in various sizes and designs, and at prices suitable for everyone. However, it is not until the beginning of December, when the shops simultaneously "change their decor," that Hang Ma Street becomes its most dazzling.

This year, due to the impact of the pandemic, Hanoi has seen a significant absence of foreign tourists, but this hasn't made Christmas any sadder, because Vietnamese people, especially the younger generation, are already very familiar with this special holiday.
