Accordingly, the Management Board of the historical site is focusing on accelerating the repair and completion of various projects, such as renovating the reliefs, renewing the stone steps leading to the summit of Nghia Linh mountain, completing the second phase of the central festival parking lot, the ceremonial axis connecting to National Highway 32C, and improving and supplementing the electricity and water systems, directional signs, and environmental landscape.
Mr. Luu Quang Huy, Director of the Hung Temple Historical Site, said that these construction projects will be completed before February 20th (lunar calendar) to welcome visitors from all over to Hung Temple.

Mr. Huy added that a new feature in this year's Hung Temple Festival is that the Management Board of the Historical Site has advised the People's Committee of Phu Tho province to request that all localities that worship Hung Kings simultaneously offer incense at the same time as the incense offering ceremony at Nghia Linh mountain peak in Hung Temple.
Along with repairing and renovating landscape structures, the Management Board of Hung Temple Historical Relic Site also strictly manages stalls and shops, prohibits the exchange of small denominations of money within the relic site, and does a good job of protecting the environment and ensuring food safety and hygiene.
The Hung Kings Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival in 2014 was held over five days, from the 6th to the 10th of the third lunar month (April 5th to 9th, 2014) at the Hung Temple Historical Site, Viet Tri City, and surrounding communes and wards; as well as at relics dedicated to the Hung Kings and other prominent figures and generals of the Hung Dynasty in Phu Tho province. On the 9th of the third lunar month, the provinces participating in the commemoration, namely Bac Ninh, Quang Binh, Vinh Long, and Long An, offered gifts and incense to the Hung Kings.
During a working session with the four provinces, Mr. Ha Ke San, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province and Head of the Organizing Committee for the Hung Kings Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival 2014, stated that the provinces carefully selected cultural and artistic activities to bring to the people of Phu Tho province and visitors performances that reflect the unique regional characteristics, such as traditional folk music from Vinh Long and Long An provinces, and Quan Ho folk songs from Bac Ninh province…
These activities aim to promote the unique traditional cultural features of each region, while also demonstrating the unity of the Vietnamese people and their collective efforts in preserving and protecting the nation's beautiful traditional cultural values. With thorough preparation, the 2014 Hung Temple Festival promises to be a great success, leaving a deep impression on visitors from all over the country as they make their pilgrimage to the ancestral land, and contributing significantly to the preservation and promotion of the Hung King worshiping belief – an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
