Accordingly, the Tu Lan Cave Exploration Tourism Product Project, part of the Tu Lan Forest Ecotourism, Resort, and Entertainment Project, is implemented in Tan Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district. The project includes the following tourism products: 1-day tour program: 2 attractions (Chuot Cave and Hung Ton Cave); 2-day 1-night tour program: 4 attractions (Hung Ton Cave, Tu Lan Cave, Ken Cave, and Kim Cave); 3-day 2-night tour program: 6 attractions (Chuot Cave, Hung Ton Cave, Tu Lan Cave, Kim Cave, Ken Cave, and Song Cave); 4-day 3-night tour program: 7 attractions (Chuot Cave, Hung Ton Cave, Tu Lan Cave, Kim Cave, Ken Cave, Uoi Cave, and Secret Cave). The Tú Làn 1-day and 2-day/1-night tour programs are for guests aged 6 and above: The number of attractions is the same as the 1-day and 2-day/1-night programs.
Tu Lan Cave Exploration Tourism Project
The project aims to continue effectively exploiting the Tú Làn Cave System exploration tourism product and enhance the brand recognition of Quảng Bình as a tourist destination; to sustainably conserve and promote forest ecosystems and tourism resources associated with sustainable tourism development and forest protection in the Tú Làn forest area, Tân Hóa commune, Minh Hóa district; to create a stable source of revenue to pay for forest protection tasks for organizations and individuals participating in forest protection activities; to increase state budget revenue, create stable jobs and improve income for local people through participation in the activities of the Forest Management Board, sharing benefits from the forest, thereby contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the area; to contribute to improving livelihoods, reducing poverty for communities and maintaining political security and social order in the area, minimizing the negative impact of people on forest protection and development.
The project has a total investment of 25 billion VND. The projected number of visitors is 10,000 - 12,000 per year (during the period 2024 - 2028). The implementation period is 30 years, with a periodic evaluation of the project's results every 5 years.
The project is implemented through a partnership between the forest management unit, the Minh Hoa District Protective Forest Management Board, and the collaborating unit, Chua Me Dat One-Member Limited Liability Company.
