Oxalis launches Ba Cave exploration tour, with a difficulty level comparable to Son Doong Cave exploration.

Oxalis Adventure – the only company currently operating tours to Son Doong Cave – recently launched a new tour in the "deep forest of Hang Ba" (Quang Binh). Exploring Hang Ba will be a completely new experience compared to the tours Oxalis currently offers, and is considered to be as challenging as exploring Son Doong Cave.

TourExploring the Deep Forest of Hang BaThis is a trekking and exploration trip through the primeval forest in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh), home to caves that are almost untouched: Dai Cao Cave, Me Cung Cave, Vinh Tron, Hang Ba,... The tour is now available for booking on the official website.Oxalis Adventure.

With Hang Ba, visitors will have a 4-day, 3-night journey, camping at the cave entrance and admiring the majestic and mystical beauty of nature every night.

What makes the Hang Ba Deep Forest Expedition tour special, according to Oxalis, is its difficulty level, comparable to the Son Doong Cave expedition. The 4-day journey includes: exploring 6 caves, traversing 20 km of mountainous forest trails with many treacherous rocky terrain, paddling a 250 m stream inside a cave, swimming across an underground river, climbing 3 km of rocky slopes, and ascending to an altitude of 1,678 m... Participants in the expedition are required to be in good physical condition and have prior trekking experience.

Many species of wildlife can be seen at Ba Cave, such as Chamois goats, deer, wild boars, wild cats, gobies, langurs, and various birds. However, because these animals do not appear frequently, the probability of visitors encountering them is not very high.

The Oxalis team set up "camera traps" in the valleys or outside the caves to capture fascinating images of the animals. Similarly, visitors will also have access to specialized technical equipment to track the wildlife and discover the most pristine natural beauty of the area.

To protect wildlife and allow nature time to recover, the expedition is limited to a maximum of 6 participants per group and is organized very infrequently throughout the year. Therefore, it is considered a rare opportunity for adventure enthusiasts who want to witness the magnificent beauty of nature firsthand.

"We organize this tour for one sole purpose, and that is conservation," shared Howard Limbert, Director of Technical Safety and Conservation at Oxalis Adventure. "Those who join this journey will be captivated by the stunning natural scenery, have the opportunity to see traces of wildlife, enjoy nature, and explore magnificent caves."

Currently, Oxalis Adventure is also the only company organizing tours to explore Son Doong Cave - the world's largest cave.
