A magnificent carpet of flowers adorns Red Square.

From July 18th to 23rd, Moscow residents and tourists visiting Red Square will be able to admire a colorful carpet of fresh flowers covering an area of ​​up to 4,000 square meters.

The organizers planted more than 650,000 flowering plants belonging to 26 different species, creating a vibrant carpet of flowers.
Along with famous architectural landmarks such as the Kremlin bell towers, the Basilica of Brazenov, and the Historical Museum, themed flower arrangements have given Red Square a new look. Evening concerts, flower viewing, and music performances will take place here in the heart of Moscow.

Locals and tourists alike want to admire and experience the stunning beauty of Russia during the sunny summer days.

This year, the flower festival is being held to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the inauguration of the Upper Commercial Building and the 60th anniversary of the opening of the GUM department store – one of the largest department stores in Russia.
