Terraced flower fields are causing a sensation in Hanoi.

29/03/2018

Fields of white and yellow mustard flowers planted on terraced slopes, 20 km from the center of Hanoi, are attracting the attention of photography enthusiasts.

If you ever don't know where to go, head to the outskirts of Hanoi; there are many surprises waiting for you to discover. Just visit the upscale Dan Phuong ecological urban area, and you'll find a beautiful flower garden perfect for relaxing on weekends.

The unique beauty of this flower garden lies in the fact that it's not planted on flat land as is typical, but on a hillside shaped like terraced rice fields, as we often see in the Northwest region or the mountainous areas of Ha Giang. And the plants grown aren't rice, but white and yellow mustard flowers...

Within the 3-hectare flower garden, there are many beautiful flowers, each in its own season. The terraced mustard fields are the most popular spot for visitors to take photos.

The flowers are planted in terraces with separate pathways, which reduces the risk of stepping on and damaging the plants. Many families with young children have chosen this garden, which offers a spacious, airy environment and fresh air for the kids to play in.

There's no entrance fee to the ecological zone, but if you want to take photos in the terraced mustard fields, there's a fee of 20,000 VND per adult and 10,000 VND per child. If you don't want to drive, I'll tell you a much easier way. Take bus route 20 from Cau Giay to Phung bus station, turn right, and you'll arrive; the terraced mustard fields will be on your left.

Besides the terraced rice fields, visitors can also visit the 2-hectare Dai Tu An Pagoda, currently the Hanoi Buddhist College. In addition, there are many other services such as a grass-sliding area, restaurants, a Cham cultural area, a swimming pool, and possibly a tea plantation that will become the largest film set in western Hanoi.

Let's take a leisurely stroll through the colorful butterfly flower fields, alongside many other flowers, such as bauhinia and golden shower trees...

Pine trees are planted along the road, making visitors feel like they are exploring a miniature Da Lat...
