Sapa in the snow season

16/12/2015

From late December to mid-January, the cold air often causes the temperature in Sapa in particular and the Northwest region in general to drop sharply, causing frost and snowfall. Visitors to Sapa during the snowfall season will be delighted with this rare natural phenomenon.

The whole of Sapa seems to be wearing a completely new coat. The roads, mountain peaks, valleys and especially the terraced fields are all covered in a magical white color of snow. When the sun rises and shines down on the white snow carpets, Sapa becomes even more magical. All will give visitors the feeling of living in the middle of a charming European land.
