On December 18, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province announced that it would exempt entrance fees to the Ba Den Mountain historical relic and scenic spot for domestic and international tourists from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. "The exemption of entrance fees to Ba Den Mountain has been approved by the Provincial People's Council, aiming to stimulate tourism and remove difficulties and obstacles due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic," said Mr. Vo Duc Trong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province.
Ba Den Mountain peak is at an altitude of 986 m.
Ba Den Mountain - "the roof of the South" is 986 m high, famous for its wild natural scenery and ancient spiritual architectural complex. Since 2020, Sun World BaDen Mountain has put into service two cable car routes to Van Son station and Chua Hang station. The modern cable car route takes visitors from the foot of the mountain to the top and Ba Den Pagoda in less than 10 minutes. Also in this year, Ba Den station, which holds the Guinness record for "the world's largest cable car station", was put into operation. At the same time, visitors can make a pilgrimage to the top of the mountain to worship the Tay Bo Da Son Buddha statue, which holds the record for "the tallest bronze Buddha statue in Asia located on the top of the mountain" among a garden of flowers blooming brilliantly all year round.
