Ninh Thuan is a coastal province in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam, the center of the province is Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, about 350 km from Ho Chi Minh City, about 105 km from Nha Trang and about 110 km from Da Lat. The nearest airport to Ninh Thuan is Cam Ranh, about 60 km away.
Ninh Thuan is a land famous for its grapes and large vineyard system. To get to the grape farm, you will go by motorboat across the river, the cool air and the river scenery will help visitors feel comfortable from the first moments. When arriving at the green vineyard, the feeling of excitement and delight will come when you witness hundreds of bunches of grapes full of vitality. This is a good opportunity to take romantic pictures and touch each grape. Moreover, you can enjoy fresh grapes picked by your own hands to feel the sweetness of the grapes in season.

After feeling tired, spread out a tarp and sit under the grape trellis, enjoy some afternoon tea with green apples, welcome the gentle sunlight that has been kept from all the "harshness" by the lush grape leaves, and sit and listen to the farmers who are native to Phan Rang tell stories about growing grapes. The more you listen, the more you understand the hardships but also the happiness of caring for, pruning each grape leaf, cultivating, protecting from the rain and sun so that the grapes can bear sweet and fragrant fruit throughout the area. You will also be told how to preserve grapes so they don't spoil or bruise, how to choose delicious grapes and enjoy distilled and carefully aged wine right in the garden.
Remember to buy a few bottles of special "made in Phan Rang" wine as gifts for friends and relatives, and also to preserve a bit of Ninh Thuan's flavor in your memory.
In 2014, Ninh Thuan Grape and Wine Festival will be held from July 17 to July 19. So please arrange your trip around the festival period to visit the vineyards and enjoy the special cultural programs.

Opening day July 17
8am: Parade on the streets with floats with the theme of Sea and Grapes
9am: Photo exhibition and award ceremony "A charming land". With the participation of photographers with works submitted to the contest nationwide
10am:Basket boat racing
15h: Sand sculpture with the message of Vietnam's Sea and Islands (before the opening).
5:00 p.m.: Contest: Who is the strongest person, Who eats the fastest?
18:00:Street bands (4 bands) perform around the central lake area. (Themed wine stalls from different countries in the area around the lake). Coordinated with local specialty stalls.
7:00 p.m.Guests participate in wine tasting at the festival center area.

9am: Workshop on grapevine development chain in Vietnam at the hall of a prestigious hotel in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city organized by the Southern Crop Development Institute, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ninh Thuan province, Nha Ho Cotton Institute and Department of Science and Technology of Ninh Thuan.
10am: Remote control aircraft demonstration
15hKite flying competition
5:00 p.m.: Cooking contest to make the biggest fish cake in Vietnam
7:00 p.m.: Local music, folk dance, floating lanterns, fireworks
8:00 p.m.Gala dinner at a large resort in Ninh Thuan to raise funds for the poor.

14:00: Grape picking pole climbing competition.
6:00 p.m.: Summarize and award prizes and certificates of merit to participating units and individuals.
