At the awards ceremony at the Malaga Club in Andalucia, the billion-dollar resort The Grand Ho Tram Strip was named “Best Golf Hotel in Vietnam” and “Best Golf Hotel in Asia”.
Previously, The Grand Ho Tram Strip and the traditional links-style golf course The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip designed by Greg Norman have consecutively received awards from the World Golf Awards. Known as the best golf course in Vietnam and highly appreciated by famous golfers in the world of golf, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip has a beautiful location and design, located between the vast natural sand dunes stretching along the Ho Tram coast, and close to Ho Chi Minh City.
In just a few years of operation since opening in 2013, The Grand Ho Tram Strip resort has received many prestigious awards such as “World’s Best New Golf Course” at the World Golf Awards in 2015. In 2017, Vietnam’s leading tourism and golf organizations voted it “Vietnam’s Best Golf Course”. The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip golf course once again affirmed its class when it was voted the top golf course in Vietnam and ranked 35th in the “100 best golf courses in the world” ranking by the prestigious Golf Digest magazine.
Not only that, Ho Tram Strip at the World Golf Awards 2018 also impressed by contributing to bringing the prestige and class of Vietnam's golf to a new peak at the world level. Vietnam surpassed Thailand, Indonesia and other countries to be named "Asia's Best Golf Destination". The winners at the World Golf Awards 2018 were decided by an open online survey lasting more than 7 months, conducted since the beginning of the year.
The Bluffs Golf Course is designed to evoke the unique golf experience of southwest Ireland thanks to its stunning natural landscape created by the sand dunes along the coast. Opened in 2014, The Bluffs officially put its name on the world golf map when it successfully hosted the 2015 Ho Tram Open, a $1.5 million tournament organized by the Asian Tour, with Sergio Garcia being the current champion. At the same time, the Ho Tram Open was also voted “Asian Tour Event of the Year” by members of the Asian Tour.
