18/04/2019

Asia's leading golf tourism company, Golfasian, has been involved in promoting Central Vietnam as one of the top leisure destinations in the region, especially for golf - a sport known as the "nobles' sport".

Golfasian, based in Thailand and Vietnam, has signed a strategic partnership with Vietnam Golf Coast, a destination marketing organization that links six of the region’s best golf courses, including Laguna Lang Co.

Inaugurated in early 2019, the DMO, which includes Ba Na Hills Golf Club, BRG Danang Golf Club, Montgomerie Links, Vinpearl Nam Hoi An Golf Course and Hoiana Shores (coming soon), aims to capture the tastes and interests of golf enthusiasts around the world. According to members of the DMO team, Golfasian is doing a great job in conveying the message that the Central region is a charming and attractive golf destination.

“I am very appreciative of our partnership with a qualified operator like Golfasian,” said Adam Calver, Director of Golf at Laguna Lang Co Golf Club. “Golfasian has been voted the best tour operator in Vietnam for many years. We are therefore delighted to announce this strategic partnership as we aim to develop this exciting sport in Central Vietnam.”

With its high-quality golf courses, vibrant cities, beautiful beaches, modern hotels, and excellent infrastructure, Central Vietnam is now considered one of the most perfect destinations in Asia. Many hope that a coordinated push to bring more golf-loving tourists to the Central region will help this region develop rapidly.

“Central Vietnam is undoubtedly one of the best destinations in Southeast Asia,” said Mark Siegel, Managing Director of Golfasian. “It has everything from traditional golf courses to tropical garden layouts. Tourism in the central region is already very attractive and the experts at the DMO team wanted to combine golf with tourism, cuisine, heritage and shopping.

Each member of the team is committed to providing exceptional golf experiences to our guests and they will experience some of the best golf courses in Southeast Asia.
