The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip was named the Best Golf Course in Vietnam in 2017.

The "Vietnam's Best Golf Course Voting" event, organized by Vietnam Golf Magazine in collaboration with the Vietnam Golf Association, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and the General Department of Physical Education and Sports, aimed to promote the beauty of golf courses and introduce the potential of golf tourism in Vietnam. It received widespread attention from the golf community, domestic and international golf investors, and was supported by media outlets nationwide. This 7th annual online voting was conducted from January 1st, 2017 to August 31st, 2017, with votes cast directly through the website: www.vietnamgolfmagazine.net. The eligible participants were golf courses with 18 holes or more that were operational or officially opened and operational before January 2017 and had hosted golf tournaments.

The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip golf course has been voted the best golf course in Vietnam.

After compiling the online voting data, the Organizing Committee coordinated with the golf courses to organize on-site surveys for the judging panel members to most of the golf courses participating in the voting in Vietnam. The data from the website and the evaluation forms of each judging panel member were compiled and reported to the Judging Panel, which included representatives from: the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the General Department of Physical Education and Sports, the Vietnam Golf Association, the Hanoi Golf Association, the Da Nang Golf Association, the Saigon Golf Association, Vietnam Golf Magazine, international golf experts, etc., to make the final decision on the awarded titles.

Twin Doves Golf Club was voted the most popular golf course in 2017.

According to statistics from the Organizing Committee, this year's voting received immense attention from the golf community with over 86,000 votes cast to select the golf course worthy of the most prestigious title: "Best Golf Course in Vietnam 2017" and 18 other titles. Mr. Doan Manh Giao, Chairman of the Judging Panel and Head of the Organizing Committee of the voting, said: "This is the 7th time that Golf Vietnam Magazine has had the honor of being the leading magazine in Vietnam to successfully host the Best Golf Course in Vietnam 2017 voting, and it is also the only golf magazine in Vietnam approved by the International Association of Golf Tourism Operators (IAGTO). In the past two years, many new golf courses have come into operation with increasingly better quality and higher standards, providing more enjoyable experiences for players. This year's voting will promote the development of the golf industry and encourage golf courses in preserving natural values."

Representatives of the Organizing Committee presented a commemorative plaque to the golf course that won the title of "Best Golf Course in Vietnam 2017".

Sam Thomas, Director of the Golf Environment Organization (GEO), a member of the judging panel, shared: “I highly appreciate the role of the Awards. The annual evaluations by VGM and the Awards have increased interest in golf in Vietnam among both domestic and international golfers. Furthermore, environmental protection is a key aspect that the organizers are particularly focused on in this year's awards. Besides quality in terms of facilities, services, and benefits, golf courses also need to conserve resources, create community value, and enhance the vibrant image of golf in the long term.”
