According to the Department of Health, before passengers boarded the plane to Vietnam, airlines checked to ensure that all incoming passengers had negative test results according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health. Therefore, passengers do not need to prove negative Covid-19 again when arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport.
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City has re-established the flow organization as soon as passengers enter the country. For passengers who have declared their health, after presenting the QR code to the quarantine officer, they will go through a separate flow to complete entry procedures. Passengers do not have to stop to wait for the QR code to be scanned and information to be verified as before.

For passengers who have not yet made a health declaration, they can do so while moving from the plane to the terminal with QR codes arranged along the aisle. Otherwise, passengers are allowed to enter a separate area to complete the procedure with the help of Health Quarantine or airline staff.
In addition, the Southern Airports Authority continues to require airlines to fully notify and guide passengers to make health declarations before boarding flights to Vietnam.

Currently, there are an average of 40 incoming flights per day with a passenger load of about 4,000 - 4,500 people. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, with the policy of reopening all international flights in the near future, if the process is not improved, congestion will certainly become more serious.
After applying the improved process, the airport no longer had to see crowds and congestion. Passengers who had already made health declarations hardly had to stop, while those who had not yet made declarations moved to a separate area to be guided through the declaration process.
