According to the People's Committee of Trung Khanh district, immediately after being selected as heritage sites in the eastern tourism experience route of the province, the district strengthened propaganda and education to raise awareness among officials and people in the district about the value of geological, cultural and biodiversity heritages in socio-economic development.
Currently, the district has 8 heritage sites in the tourist route "Experience Traditional cultures in a wonderland" including: Thoong Got landscape heritage site (score 37); Chestnut garden (score 38); Nung horse homestay (score 39); Water wheel (score 40); Khuoi Ky stone village (score 41); Geopark information center (score 42); Nguom Ngao cave (score 43); Ban Gioc waterfall (score 44).
The district's electronic information page regularly posts relevant information about tourism activities as well as the importance and significance of building community tourism... The grassroots radio system in hamlets and communes promotes propaganda about the UNESCO Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark.
As a locality with ethnic minorities accounting for 95% of the district's population, each ethnic group has its own development history, its own language, its own economic activities, its own unique cultural characteristics, creating a diverse and rich ethnic cultural picture. Therefore, the preservation of traditional culture has always been a local focus in many forms. According to Ms. Chu Thi Vinh, Vice Chairman of Trung Khanh District People's Committee, the management and construction of facilities at heritage sites in the district are currently being actively implemented by the locality. However, due to low investment costs in infrastructure at tourist sites in the Geopark area and community tourism models, tourism products are still small, fragmented, spontaneous... so calling for investment has not been very effective. In the coming time, the district will continue to promote the implementation of community tourism models and built stops to effectively operate heritage sites.
The tour route "Experience indigenous culture in the fairyland" to the East will really be a highlight for tourists. Besides the unique mature and old karts landscape along with famous tourist attractions, tourists have the opportunity to visit famous traditional craft villages such as: Phuc Sen blacksmith village, Khuoi Ky stone village, Phja Thap incense village, Cap Tao cake village, Phi Hai and dozens of folk festivals such as: Quang Uyen fireworks, Nang Hai Phuc Hoa, long tong of the Tay, Nung, Dao, San Chi...
