Guide to Contemporary Fashion Exhibition

On June 22, 2017, FACE Fashion workshop, in collaboration with the two founders of TR Cutting School, Elena Ewst Fashion Lab, and three partners: RomeA, Shindo, and Brother, presented an important and essential exhibition for fashion designers: the "Guide to Contemporary Fashion" exhibition – New Guidelines for Contemporary Fashion.

In its small endeavor, FACE Fashion Workshop brings together leading experts in new techniques and trends in fashion design through the "Guide to Contemporary Fashion" exhibition, thereby helping Vietnamese fashion enthusiasts understand and embrace new techniques and creative thinking. This will enable them to keep pace with the global fashion and garment industry.

Shingo Sato, the founder of TR Cutting School in Milan, is also...The founder of TR Cutting techniques was honored as one of the five designers who have transformed the global garment industry, as selected by the Financial Times.He also used toHe is the chief pattern designer and technician for the Haute Couture brand.Azzedine Alaïa. Present Professors teach at leading fashion universities such as Parsons, Bunka, and London College of Fashion. Meanwhile, Ms. Elena Ewst has worked for 25 years in Europe and Asia, having taught at Raffles and London College of Fashion. She is also the founder of Elena Ewst Fashion Lab. She pursues Zero-Waste fashion and Eco-sustainable fashion techniques.

The exhibition will include three main spaces:Innovative Cutting: TR Cutting by Shingo Sato; Pattern in Sustainable Fashion: Zero-Waste Design by Elena Ewst;Pattern making: From history to contemporary; along with two fashion talks – important discussions about the contemporary garment industry – led and shared by Professor Shingo Sato and Ms. Elena Ewst.
