The Taihong Xianshou Bridge in Fujian Province, China, which was inaugurated last August, is unique for its giant Buddha hands supporting the bridge's structure. However, this bridge also inevitably reminds many people of the famous Golden Bridge in Da Nang, Vietnam.

The Taihong Xianshou Bridge in the Guxi Xinghe tourist area (Fujian, China) has received a Guinness World Record for its design of the "Largest sculpted Buddha hand in the world".

The name of the Thai Hong Tien Thu bridge means "Buddha's hand supporting the rainbow bridge".

The bridge is 99 meters long and made of glass; when sunlight reflects off it, it creates rainbows. The highlight of the bridge is a giant white Buddha hand "supporting" it.

Cầu bắt đầu được xây dựng từ 8/2018

Construction of the bridge began in August 2018.

But before the Thai Hong Tien Thu bridge was built, domestic and international tourists were already familiar with another famous bridge featuring giant Buddha hands supporting the bridge's structure – that is Vietnam's Golden Bridge.

The Golden Bridge (Da Nang, Vietnam), inaugurated in June 2018, features two Buddha hands covered in cracks and moss, resembling ancient stone ruins. Since its inauguration, this bridge has quickly become a model for modern architectural designs in other countries.

Despite having similar ideas, the designs of these two bridges are completely different - because the Golden Bridge in Da Nang is 150 meters long and has two Buddha hands supporting its structure.
