The ceremony was held in a solemn American style, with the participation of representatives from educational institutions, media outlets, teachers, parent representatives, and outstanding students of the academic year.
At the ceremony, in addition to speeches from the principals of each school block, representatives of parents, and representatives of graduating students, there was also the participation of successful APU alumni, now holding Master's and Doctoral degrees. Dr. Tran Nguyen Thy Binh, Chairman of the Education Council of the American Education Development Group (APU), also extended his best wishes to the students, hoping they will continue to strive and achieve brilliant success in the future.

On behalf of the Ministry of Education and Training, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong – Director of the Southern Education Development Center – also came to celebrate and congratulate the American International School APU on a brilliantly successful academic year.
At the 2021-2022 Graduation and Outstanding Student Recognition Ceremony, the American International School (APU) had 155 high school graduates, of whom 83% achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher and 15% achieved a perfect GPA of 4.0. The school selected 2 Valedictorians and 7 Salutatorians to honor, all of whom demonstrated commendable conduct and outstanding extracurricular contributions.
This outstanding academic achievement has earned APU students of the 2022 cohort numerous valuable scholarships from prestigious US universities, totaling over $25 million. Notably, some students received full scholarships worth over $100,000. This list is still being updated with scholarships from many other prestigious universities worldwide.
This year, APU has 62 11th-grade students who achieved very high GPAs and graduated early. In addition, APU students consistently have their names on the Dean's Honor Roll, demonstrating outstanding academic achievements from their early years. They are also selected to be teaching assistants for prestigious professors at universities as early as their first or second year. Through the annual scholarship program, 100% of APU graduates receive valuable scholarships from renowned universities in the US and other countries such as Canada.
In line with its goal of helping graduating students secure the best possible pathways to higher education, The American University in Vietnam (AUV) announces scholarships for 100% of its graduating students, with flexible amounts depending on academic achievement. These scholarships provide students with the best financial support to complete their undergraduate degree at AUV and then directly enroll in other prestigious universities in the United States for a Master's or Doctoral degree; or they can choose to complete the first 1-2 years at AUV and then transfer to other prestigious universities in the United States to complete their undergraduate degree or pursue higher education.
