Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman for the Thai Covid-19 Prevention Agency, said there will be adjustments for people entering the country under the "Test & Go" program. The prerequisite is still that the individual has received all the basic vaccination doses, in which the difference from February 1 is that visitors must present themselves for testing on the first and fifth days after entering the country.
Additionally, visitors will be required to install a mobile app to monitor compliance with the second test. Those who are “Test & Go” will be taken to a designated hotel for a short quarantine period pending test results.
Currently, the Thai government has relaxed the operating hours for venues that serve alcohol from 9pm to 11pm, however bars and nightclubs remain closed.

On January 24, Bloomberg news agency reported that the Thai government is deploying the fourth Covid-19 vaccine injection for people in Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi and 7 other provinces. According to the Thai Ministry of Health, those who have received the third dose at least 3 months ago will receive the fourth injection with the AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine.
Thailand has administered more than 800,000 doses of the fourth vaccine, mainly to health workers and people in high-risk groups. About 17% of Thailand’s nearly 70 million people have received three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 69% of the population have received at least two doses. The country is among a handful of countries, including Chile and Israel, that are rolling out the fourth dose of the vaccine.
