Mr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesperson for Thailand's Covid-19 Task Force, said there will be adjustments for those entering under the "Test & Go" scheme. The prerequisite remains that individuals have received all basic vaccine doses, but the difference from February 1st is that travelers must report for testing on the first and fifth days after arrival.
Furthermore, travelers must also install a mobile app for monitoring, ensuring compliance with the second test. Those under the "Test & Go" program will be taken to a designated hotel for short-term quarantine while awaiting test results.
Currently, the Thai authorities have relaxed the operating hours for establishments serving alcohol from 9 PM to 11 PM; however, bars and nightclubs remain closed.

On January 24th, Bloomberg reported that the Thai authorities are rolling out the fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to residents in Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, and seven other provinces. According to the Thai Ministry of Public Health, those who received their third dose at least three months ago will be eligible for the fourth dose, which will be either AstraZeneca or Pfizer.
Thailand has administered over 800,000 doses of its fourth vaccine, primarily to healthcare workers and those in high-risk groups. Approximately 17% of Thailand's nearly 70 million people have received three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 69% have received at least two doses. The country is among the few, such as Chile and Israel, that are rolling out the fourth dose.
