From April 30th, Da Lat Railway Station officially launched a multi-purpose visitor card to modernize services and optimize the experience for tourists. Priced at 2.5 million VND for 100 uses, the card reduces entrance fees by up to 50% and significantly shortens queuing times during peak seasons.

This year, during the April 30th and May 1st holidays, Da Lat Railway Station – one of the oldest architectural landmarks of the "city of mist" – will operate a completely new service system. Beyond simply visiting a cultural heritage site, from April 30th, 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a more professional service process with the launch of a multi-purpose visitor pass. This is considered a significant transformation by the management unit, aiming to harmonize heritage preservation with the enhancement of sustainable tourism quality.

Begun in 1932 by French architects, Da Lat Railway Station embodies a blend of Art Deco style and the distinctive architecture of the Central Highlands' longhouses. As the hub of the legendary Thap Cham - Da Lat railway line, it's always a "must-visit" destination for travelers. However, the long queues for manual ticket purchases during holidays often cause considerable fatigue. The introduction of a multi-purpose visitor pass during major holidays provides a solution to the overcrowding problem, offering a smarter and more economical way to access this heritage site.

In terms of cost, the multi-purpose entrance pass is a real bargain for groups of friends, families, or tour groups. With a listed price of 2.5 million VND for 100 visits, the actual cost per entry is only 25,000 VND – a 50% reduction compared to current individual ticket prices. The pass is valid for up to 6 months and has no restrictions on who can use it. This offers maximum flexibility: A large family or group of friends can share one pass for quick entry without needing to make multiple separate transactions.

To have a complete experience visiting Indochina's oldest railway station during the April 30th holiday, visitors should note some "tips" for using the multi-purpose card. First, instead of wasting time waiting at the central ticket counter, passengers with a multi-purpose card will have priority access to scan the code and enter directly. This solution is especially useful during peak hours from 9 am to 11 am - the time when the station is busiest.

For travel agencies and tour guides, the new cooperation policy from Da Lat Railway Station also offers many advantages. With a fee of 5,000 VND per person for groups of 10 or more, along with a transparent verification process through the card system, tour organizers can rest assured about personnel management and costs. It is recommended for large groups to register and purchase multi-purpose passes before departure to receive maximum support in terms of space coordination, avoiding overcrowding in the lobby area.

Using multi-purpose cards also supports civilized tourism. Minimizing paper tickets and cash not only makes the management process at the heritage site cleaner and more efficient but also contributes to environmental protection – a criterion that Lam Dong's tourism industry is promoting. After completing the entrance procedures, visitors should not forget to spend time visiting the exhibition space displaying artifacts from the cogwheel railway or enjoying a cup of coffee right in the old train carriage to fully feel the breath of history.
