The 2019 French Wine Tasting Program was organized by the French Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (BUSINESS FRANCE) in Vietnam. At the event held at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel, more than 200 wine experts in Vietnam tasted fine wines from the most famous wine-producing regions of France such as Bourgogne, Bordeaux, Champagne, Languedoc-Roussillon, Rhône Valley, Southwest France, Alsace... thereby establishing cooperative and trade relations between Vietnam and France.

At the 2019 French Wine Tasting Program, Mr. Vincent Floreani, Consul General of France in Ho Chi Minh City, said that Vietnam is currently one of the most dynamic wine markets in Asia. Thanks to its long-standing reputation for quality, France is still the leading country among wine exporters to Vietnam.

In 2018, the export volume of French wine and spirits in the Vietnamese market increased by 15.6% compared to 2017. The annual high-quality wine tasting program has become a highlight for French wine in Vietnam and this year is the 10th time this important cultural event has been held.
