Meitu Group recently partnered with NikkieTutorials to launch the #SHEunites program to support the Peacemakers Network. Meitu's MakeupPlus app will showcase three unique makeup styles created by popular YouTube makeup artist NikkieTutorials for the #SHEunites campaign. The app first gained widespread popularity online through NikkieTutorials' half-face makeup tutorial to raise awareness about makeup criticism, the power of the makeup movement, and makeup styles.

The Peacemakers Network, initiated by the United Nations, believes that women play a vital role in building a peaceful and prosperous society, yet their contributions often go unacknowledged. Through a partnership with NikkieTutorials, the #SHEunites campaign aims to support the important work done by women around the world by providing a digital platform to share inspiring stories, while simultaneously raising funds for the Peacemakers Network to conduct training sessions, workshops, and strengthen the capacity to establish women's networks globally. Supporters of the campaign are encouraged to download the MakeupPlus app and use their favorite virtual makeup style from #SHEunites, share photos, and use the hashtag #SHEunites on Instagram.

With Meitu's free MakeupPlus app, users can experience a full range of virtual makeup styles (with over 50 different makeup looks and thousands of makeup combinations) from lipstick, foundation, eyelashes, to eyes and hair color, fake freckles, and glitter directly from their mobile phones. To bring the makeup styles favored by MakeupPlus users to life, the app also integrates makeup tutorial videos from famous makeup artists along with carefully curated professional information channels to provide the user community with the latest information on beauty trends.
