According to Plan No. 173 recently issued by the Hanoi People's Committee, the solemn celebration will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square and several central streets. This national event, combined with the long holiday, has turned Hanoi into the "hottest" destination during the holiday, attracting a large number of people from all over to attend and immerse themselves in the historical atmosphere.

Specifically, surveys show that airfares for the Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi route on peak days of August 31 and September 1 have increased sharply.
Currently, economy class tickets (Eco) of low-cost airlines such as Vietjet Air and Vietravel Airlines are ranging from 1 million to 1.4 million VND/way (excluding taxes and fees), with some peak-hour flights reaching nearly 2.9 million VND/way. For traditional airlines such as Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways, economy class tickets have climbed to 2.5 million to 3.5 million VND/way, while the highest business class ticket has even reached 8.7 million VND/way.
On platforms, air tickets are increasing due to high demand from people.
Calculating the total cost for a round trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi during the September 2 holiday, passengers may have to pay from 5 million to 7.5 million VND for an economy class ticket, depending on the airline and the time slot chosen. If you decide to book tickets close to the holiday, the risk of "sold out" and prices being pushed up even higher is very high due to the scarcity of supply.
According to ticket office representatives, this price increase is considered appropriate to the general level during peak tourist season, especially for short flights or flights operated by many airlines.
Along with that, workers are given a maximum of 4 days off, creating favorable conditions for arranging travel schedules, returning to their hometowns or participating in national historical events.
In the context of high demand for travel and the sudden increase in the number of people searching for airline tickets on social media platforms, scammers have taken advantage of this opportunity to carry out many sophisticated tricks. There have been many cases of passengers falling into the situation of "losing money and suffering", seriously affecting their work, personal and family plans.

When detecting suspicious signs, immediately call the airline's hotline to check the booking information. If you are unfortunately scammed, you need to immediately report to the nearest police station or call 113 for timely support.
