The Ryder Cup 2023 launch event was attended by Mr. Dang Ha Viet – Director General of the General Department of Physical Education and Sports – Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Antonio Alessandro – Italian Ambassador to Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Van Nam – Former Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy; Mr. Riccardo Tirotti – Business Development Director of Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, representing the Ryder Cup 2023 Organizing Committee; Mr. Le Kien Thanh – President of the Vietnam Golf Association; Mr. Bui Duc Long – Chairman of the Board of Directors of VGS Group, along with numerous guests and members of the Vietnamese golf community.
The Ryder Cup is the most prestigious and historically significant golf tournament in the world. The 44th Ryder Cup will be held at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Guidonia, Rome, Italy, from September 25th to October 1st.

To spread the appeal of the tournament to a wider audience of golf fans in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, the Ryder Cup 2023 organizing committee selected VGS Group as the sole partner to implement media activities for the event. One of these activities is organizing the Vietnam Italy Golf Tournament, an international friendly tournament, which took place on March 20th at Long Bien Golf Course, 918th Regiment, Nguyen Son Street, Long Bien District, Hanoi.
Speaking at the Ryder Cup 2023 launch event in Vietnam, Mr. Bui Duc Long – Chairman of the Board of Directors of VGS Group – said: “Diplomacy and sports are two mutually influential fields.
