Recently, Condé Nast Traveler magazine announced the Readers' Choice Awards 2024. Accordingly, Vietnam is among the top 20 most favorite destinations for travelers worldwide.
According to the Tourism Information Center of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, Vietnam ranks 15th in the list of 20 most popular destinations, with a score of 89.11/100. Condé Nast Traveler commented that Vietnam is an attractive destination with diverse culture and rustic beauty, contributing to making Vietnam one of the top favorite destinations.
Vietnam, with its abundant natural beauty and diverse culture, is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for international tourists.
From the golden terraced rice fields of the Northwest, the endless white sandy beaches of Central Vietnam, to the ancient streets of Hoi An, Vietnam offers visitors diverse and unforgettable experiences. Exploring local culture, savoring unique cuisine, conquering mountain peaks, or simply relaxing on the beach, visitors can find joy in this S-shaped country.
This has contributed to the strong growth of Vietnam's tourism industry, with over 12.7 million international visitors in the first nine months of the year, a 43% increase compared to the same period last year.
A modern Vietnam
Condé Nast Traveler also mentioned the prestigious awards that Vietnam's tourism sector won at the recent World Travel Awards. These included Vietnam being voted "Asia's Leading Destination" for the sixth time, along with titles such as "Asia's Leading Heritage Destination" and "Asia's Leading Nature Destination." These accolades once again affirm Vietnam's position, brand, and image as a diverse, multi-faceted, and attractive destination for both domestic and international tourists.
"Vietnam is no longer just a noteworthy destination, but a must-visit destination," Condé Nast Traveler magazine asserted.
The Vietnam National Tourism Administration assesses that the number of international visitors to Vietnam is growing positively, with some markets fully recovering. It is predicted that, with the current growth momentum, Vietnam will achieve its target of welcoming 17-18 million international visitors in 2024.
