Recently, Condé Nast Traveler magazine announced the Readers' Choice Awards 2024. Accordingly, Vietnam is in the list of 20 most favorite destinations by global travelers.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism’s Tourism Information Center, Vietnam ranked 15th in the list of 20 most popular destinations, with a score of 89.11/100. Condé Nast Traveler commented that Vietnam is an attractive destination with diverse culture and rustic beauty, contributing to making Vietnam one of the top favorite destinations.
Vietnam, with its rich natural beauty and diverse culture, is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for international tourists.
From the golden terraced fields in the Northwest, the white sand beaches stretching across the Central region to the ancient streets of Hoi An, Vietnam offers visitors a diverse and unforgettable experience. Discovering indigenous cultures, enjoying unique cuisine, conquering high peaks, or simply relaxing on the beach, visitors can find joy in the S-shaped country.
This has contributed to the strong growth of Vietnam's tourism industry, with more than 12.7 million international arrivals in the first nine months of the year, up 43% over the same period last year.
A modern Vietnam
Condé Nast Traveler also mentioned the prestigious awards that Vietnam tourism won at the recent World Travel Awards. In particular, Vietnam was voted “Asia’s Leading Destination” for the 6th time, along with titles such as “Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination” and “Asia’s Leading Natural Destination.” These titles once again affirm the position, brand, and image of Vietnam tourism as a colorful, multi-experience destination, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
“Vietnam is no longer a remarkable destination, but a must-see destination,” Condé Nast Traveler magazine affirmed.
The National Tourism Administration said that the number of international visitors to Vietnam has grown positively with some markets fully recovering. It is predicted that with the current growth momentum, Vietnam will complete the target of welcoming 17-18 million international visitors in 2024.
