The exhibition will also provide airlines with opportunities to meet directly, exchange information on product technology, promote trade, and contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam's aviation industry in the context of integration with global airlines.
Ms. Luong Thi Xuan, Director of GK Wintron Company, speaks at the press conference.
Ms. Luong Thi Xuan, Director of GK Wintron Company (the organizing unit), said: "The world currently has about 15,000 businesses producing and providing services in the aviation industry, and Vietnam has established relationships with 15% of them. The remaining 85% are still unknown and have not yet introduced their products and solutions to us. Therefore, this is a bridge for them to learn about the Vietnamese market." According to Ms. Xuan, the organizing committee will invite major aviation companies such as Boeing and Airbus to participate. At the press conference, Mr. Uong Viet Dung, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Transport, expressed hope that Vietnamese industrial manufacturing businesses will have the opportunity to access, research, and develop products to serve this emerging market.

At the press conference announcing VIAE 2019, several manufacturers from Indonesia, Italy, Germany, Canada, Belgium, Romania, and other countries sent representatives to express their willingness to participate. Indonesia, in particular, confirmed that it would showcase its aerospace products at the exhibition.
"We hope to bring Indonesian-made aircraft to the exhibition and are discussing the procedures and permits. Whether or not we can bring the aircraft to the exhibition depends on the permission granted by the Vietnamese side, as we are very willing to do so," said Hanif Salin, the Indonesian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City.
The "Vietnam International Aviation Technology Equipment Exhibition 2019" will take place from November 26 to 28, 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City.
