The World Luxury Hotel Awards is an annual award, dubbed the "Golden Palm of the global tourism industry." First held in 2006, the award has now been presented for 17 years to luxury resorts such as the 98 Acres Resort & Spa – a resort nestled amidst stunning 98-acre tea plantations with luxurious amenities in Sri Lanka; Le Grand Bellevue – a luxury boutique resort located in a park in the heart of Gstaad, Switzerland; and Barceló Tenerife Royal Level – a sustainable resort with beach views in Spain.
In 2022, Ville De Mont Mountain Resort was honored in the Luxury Cultural Resort on Global category. And in 2023, the resort was simultaneously recognized in three award categories across Southeast Asia, Asia, and globally. This is an impressive "hat-trick" result, affirming the world-class reputation of this mountain resort located at a rare altitude in Sapa.

Just a few weeks prior, Ville De Mont Mountain Resort was nominated by the World Travel Awards for the "World's Leading Lifestyle Resort" category. The list included eight resorts from Portugal, Dubai, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
