Nguyen Minh Hien, a tour guide and photographer living in Vinh Hy, shared: "Encountering flocks of swallows hunting for fish on the surface is quite a matter of chance. Usually, it's only in the summer, when anchovies rise to the surface, that swallows gather in large numbers. They circle around, then suddenly dive down to the sea to catch their prey, creating a spectacular scene between the sky and the water."

The tern, also known as the tern (scientific name: Sterna hirundo), is a migratory bird with exceptional flying and hunting abilities. They typically appear in large flocks, flying close to the water's surface to hunt small fish, especially anchovies – a species that often surfaces in the summer. When anchovies jump to the surface, the terns quickly swoop down to catch their prey, creating a lively and captivating spectacle.

Vinh Hy Bay, with its sheltered topography, clear blue waters, and rich ecosystem, is an ideal destination for swallows during their hunting season. According to Mr. Hien, the period from March to July is when Vinh Hy is at its most beautiful, when the weather is clear, the sea is calm, and anchovies begin their breeding season, attracting flocks of swallows.
