Waterina Suites - a project with meticulous investment for quality

Amenities such as restaurants, spas, swimming pools, convenience stores, gyms, cafes... are all scientifically and creatively arranged, creating a civilized and quality living space.

Waterina Suites is the first luxury apartment project created by the talented Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. The project is located in the new administrative center, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, and is completing the final steps to launch to the public. Previously, this project was known to many customers and connoisseurs, impressed with a high-class design that is different, sophisticated, soft, imbued with Eastern feng shui thinking and indigenous culture.

Project meets Japanese standards from design to construction quality

Professor Kengo Kuma represents a design mindset that is natural, refined and elegant. His works are characterized by elegance, softness, and flexible use of natural materials. Before designing Waterina Suites, he and his colleagues spent a lot of time in Vietnam to survey and research the terrain, climate, lifestyle and architectural thinking here. The sparkling curve of the Saigon River winding around the city as well as the curve of the vibrant Northwest terraced fields quickly attracted him.

Waterina Suites được biết tới là kiến trúc nhà ở cao cấp độc bản tại Sài Gòn với đặc trưng là những đường cong mềm mại.

Waterina Suites is known as a unique luxury residential architecture in Saigon with its characteristic soft curves.

Water has become the main inspiration of Professor Kengo Kuma in the process of designing Waterina Suites. The overall project is a collection of soft, graceful curves running throughout the building. This is the only unique building architecture in Ho Chi Minh City up to now, breaking the current mindset of building houses with square blocks. Accordingly, all apartments of Waterina Suites have a direct view of the Saigon River, plus the balcony design running along each apartment, helping air, wind and natural light to fill the living space.

Despite its soft design, the architecture of Waterina Suites is still a solid block, applying many advanced techniques according to high-end Japanese construction standards. The walls are built with concrete instead of conventional bricks, so Waterina Suites has superior waterproofing, soundproofing and fire resistance compared to other structures. The exterior of the building uses elastic paint and advanced Japanese 3-layer membrane waterproofing technology, maximally preventing wall cracks, increasing the solidity and durability of the building.

Dr. Tetsuo Kida, General Director of Maeda Thien Duc Co., Ltd. shares his determination to create Waterina Suites with Japanese quality.

Not only is it a unique project, Waterina Suites also applies advanced management technology today. Each apartment is equipped with a modern fire protection system, plus a 3-layer security system, ensuring maximum safety. The project's interior comes from Japanese brand names such as Daikin ceiling air conditioners, high-end TOTO sanitary equipment, Samurai heat-resistant composite walls...

To ensure the project is exactly as required by the drawings, Maeda Thien Duc Company has brought to Vietnam special Japanese craftsmen to construct unique details in the apartments as well as the overall architecture of the building, determined that each apartment is a true work of art.

Sharing more about the construction of the project, Mr. Tetsuo Kida added: “We encountered many difficulties during the construction process due to subjective and objective factors. However, with the determination to create Waterina Suites as a symbol of quality and class in Vietnam, Maeda Thien Duc architects and workers were creative and determined to solve the situation, construct on schedule and ensure accuracy to every detail according to the design of Architect Kengo Kuma.

In mid-2018, the Thoi Dai bridge connecting Mai Chi Tho street through the People's Committee area of District 2 was officially opened to traffic, creating convenience and safety for residents of Waterina Suites because they do not have to travel on the same road as the container trucks going in and out of Cat Lai port. It is estimated that the travel time from the project to District 1 will only take about 10 minutes and vice versa.

Waterina Suites has now been topped out and is in the process of completing the building's surface as well as the common utility areas.
