Wink Hotel hosts an event to celebrate Pride Month.

At Wink Hotel, Block Party is held every month with a different theme. Block Party: 'Born This Way' is themed to celebrate the LGBT community in June, Pride Month. The program features Drag Queen Sweet Valentine and her group of artists. The Drag Queen group performed many explosive acts, creating a vibrant and youthful atmosphere at the Block Party event.

"This is the first time I've seen drag queens perform. I didn't expect them to be so vibrant and energetic," Nhân, an event participant, shared with Travellive.

Block Party includes activities such as music performances, fashion shows, lifestyle sharing, and networking. In particular, the event is also an opportunity for Wink Guides and Wink Hotel staff to showcase their talents. They will have the chance to perform on stage, from singing and dancing to contemporary dance and magic shows.

David Kaye, brand director of Wink Hotel, said that Wink Guides are free to express their individuality. They don't need to conform to any particular standard. People can have long, curly, straight, brightly colored hair, or even shave their heads. He shared that strict rules cannot judge employee competence. Instead, Wink looks at what they accomplish.

"We want Wink Guides to be themselves at work. Block Party is an opportunity for them to do that," David Kaye told Travellive.

Wink Hotel is the first domestic hotel brand in Vietnam with international standards. This vibrant brand reflects the spirit of the Vietnamese people, inspired by modern Vietnamese travelers living and working in a rapidly changing environment.

In addition to its first branch already in operation, Wink Hotels has also announced plans to build 20 hotels within 5-7 years in major cities across Vietnam, including the 243-room Wink Hotel Danang Centre at 178 Tran Phu, scheduled to open in Q3 2022. In the coming years, Wink Hotels will continue to open in Hai Phong, Can Tho, Tuy Hoa, and Hanoi.
