Setting the record for 'Largest Museum of Ancient Architecture in Vietnam'

The Vietnam Record Organization has officially recognized the Vietnamese House Space in Quang Nam as the largest museum of ancient Vietnamese architecture in Vietnam.

On April 27th, the Vietnam Record Organization (Vietkings) decided to recognize the largest museum of ancient architecture in Vietnam as having achieved the title of Vietnam Record, effective from April 25th.

Vietkings' decision to establish the record came after the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee recognized the Vinahouse Space in Dien Minh commune, Dien Ban district, as a "Museum of Vietnamese Ancient Architecture" on April 25th.

Completed on December 12, 2012, Vinahouse Space is an architectural complex featuring 18 of the most unique ancient Vietnamese houses and 15 restored wooden houses from the north, central, and south of Vietnam.

This place currently holds several Vietnamese records: the largest bowl of Quang noodles and the largest plate of roasted veal in Vietnam, and a conical house roofed with 2.4 million coconut shell pieces.

The architectural style of Northern Vietnam is subtly present.

The overall view of this wooden architecture museum is arc-shaped, covering an area of ​​over 11,000 square meters.2.

Upon visiting Vinahouse Space, everyone notices that it is truly a unique cultural space with many valuable old houses and architectural structures.

Among them, there is a three-bay, two-wing house used as an ancestral temple, which is the only house model that has been collected and restored relatively intact according to the Kim Bong house model in Quang Nam.

The three-bay, four-roof house collected from the home of Mrs. Tran Thi Thao (in Dai Loc district) is the only house in Quang Nam with the largest dimensions and the most columns (108 columns), spanning 200 years.

This museum also reconstructs many valuable architectural works such as: boat waiting houses, one-room, two-wing thatched houses and stilt houses of the Co Tu ethnic group in Quang Nam, octagonal moon-gazing houses, hexagonal and octagonal houses of the Hue imperial court, one-room, four-wing houses of Quang Tri, one-room, two-wing houses of Quang Binh, thatched-roof houses of Binh Dinh, quadrilateral and hexagonal houses of Southern Vietnam, octagonal and three-room, two-wing houses of Northern Vietnam, crescent-shaped lake pavilions, village gates of Northern Vietnam…
