Previously, on July 17, tour guide Duy Anh (Khanh Hoa) took a group of tourists to Da Lat city. At Robin hill area, some strangers appeared, aggressively attacking the tour guide with challenging and threatening tone.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Duy Anh said that these strangers wanted to lure tourists to some shops in Da Lat that had colluded in advance, in order to earn commissions from tourists' purchases. The trick of these subjects is to provoke, defame, and pressure the tour guides to yield and take customers to shop. This situation has existed for a long time in Da Lat, to the point of creating a "nightmare" for tour guides and drivers, especially new tour guides who are always afraid of being provoked by these subjects.

"I have reported to the local government and authorities in Da Lat to handle and eliminate this situation and bring fairness to tour guides. Many tour guides do not want to be involved and want to keep their guests safe so they do not speak up. However, after this time, I hope tour guides across the country will speak up to fight to bring peace and cleanliness to the tourism industry" - Mr. Duy Anh shared.
Immediately after receiving feedback from tour guides about the above incident, Da Lat City authorities verified and fought with the subjects; at the same time, they tracked down the stores that hired "brokers" to solicit tourists.

On the morning of July 18, the 389 Joint Team of Da Lat City assigned the Economic Police Team of Da Lat City Police to work with a store in Ward 8, Da Lat City. Here, the owner of the establishment admitted to hiring people to solicit tourists. Through inspection, the authorities discovered that some goods at the store could not prove their origin, so they will continue to work and advise competent authorities to impose penalties according to regulations.
A representative of the Economic Department - Da Lat City People's Committee said that "tourist brokers" are complicated subjects, often hired by stores to attract tourists to shop, so it is necessary to deal with those stores with punishments that are strong enough to deter this problem. "We are determined to completely handle this situation, maintaining the image of Da Lat people as always gentle, elegant and hospitable" - a representative of the Economic Department, Da Lat City People's Committee said.
