2024 marks the 10th year that Heritage magazine, published by Vietnam Airlines, has organized the Heritage Photography Award - Journey of Heritage. Over 10 years of consistent organization, the award has been recognized as one of the highest-quality professional awards, with a judging panel comprised of representatives from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and a large number of participating photographers. The award also serves as a convenient channel for promoting the image of Vietnam and its people, while contributing to raising the professional level in the field of photojournalism.
The Heritage Photography Award - Heritage Journey 2024 received participation from 156 authors from 63 provinces and cities nationwide, with a total of 411 photo entries.
After four months of launching, the Heritage Photography Award - Heritage Journey 2024 has received participation from 156 authors from 63 provinces and cities nationwide, with 411 photo entries, more than double the number from the previous year.
To mark its 10th anniversary, the Heritage Photography Award Exhibition - Heritage Journey 2024 showcases 10 winning entries and individual works. Several top-ranking winning works also received Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals sponsored by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists for the Heritage Photography Award, according to the 2024 regulations. During the judging process, because the Lifestyle - Human Portrait - Vietnam Airlines Moments categories did not have Special Prizes or Cover Awards, the judging panel decided to replace the Cover Award with a Bronze medal in the Special Photography Technique category.
The exhibition also features 30 works created during two photo tours – field-based creative programs within the framework of the photo contest – co-organized by Heritage Magazine, the Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Land Rover Vietnam.
On the occasion of the exhibition, Heritage magazine also officially announced the charity auction program "Photos That Share Love," auctioning selected photos from the Photo Tours of the Photo Contest. The specific program details will be announced on the magazine's media channels.

Mr. Le Hoang Dung - Editor-in-Chief of Heritage Magazine - Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Photo Contest, shared at the event: “Over the past week, the devastation caused by Typhoon Yagi and the subsequent floods has severely damaged many lives and properties of people across the northern provinces. Witnessing these extremely tragic and heartbreaking events, we truly want to do something, however small, to share the difficulties of the people in the localities affected by the natural disaster. Therefore, at this exhibition, Heritage Magazine officially announces the charity auction program “Photos that convey love” to raise funds to help people in the northern provinces recover from the aftermath of the natural disaster.
