1. Dau Tieng Lake, Tay Ninh
Dau Tieng Lake is the largest artificial lake in Vietnam, less than 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, this place has begun to be exploited as a tourist destination, but the lake still retains its wild, quiet beauty, suitable for those who want to find a place to temporarily escape from the dusty, noisy city.



The lake is about 38 km east of Tay Ninh city. From the city center, visitors drive along Cach Mang Thang Tam street, past Tay Ninh Holy See, to Duong Minh Chau town, then turn right. Then, continue along the coastal road. The road to the lake passes through the eye-catching rubber forests, providing cool shade.
Coming to Dau Tieng Lake, most tourists choose to camp to enjoy the nature there because there are not many hotels or homestays around this area. The lake surface here is blue and calm all year round, every small corner around the lake is harmonious and beautiful.


Along with camping, visitors can also bring their own fishing rods, experience fishing or rowing on the lake. Dau Tieng Lake is an ideal destination for you and your loved ones to enjoy a relaxing holiday, avoiding crowded places during the epidemic season.
2. Ho Coc, Ba Ria - Vung Tau
Only 2 km from Ho Tram, Ho Coc is a newly exploited beach so it still retains its wild beauty. The beach is more than 500 m long, covered by rows of green poplar trees, creating a cool space to relax. Along the coast are high-class resorts. This is a destination often chosen by couples to take pictures, enjoy their honeymoon, family vacations with short trips and camping.

When coming to Ho Coc, visitors can set up tents in the casuarina area, or the primeval forest and light a campfire, enjoy delicious BBQ dishes with friends and loved ones by the beach. In the flickering firelight, the sound of waves and the sea breeze, you can organize interesting games with your friends and family or sing and confide together to have a memorable time, full of memories.



Food service at Ho Coc is quite rich and not too expensive. Just bring a tent for camping, and the grill and seafood here are ready to meet the needs of visitors for a fun and meaningful outdoor BBQ.
3. Toad Hill, Ba Ria - Vung Tau
If you are planning a picnic for your family and friends but do not want to go to crowded beaches, Doi Nhai beach will be a great suggestion. Doi Nhai beach in Vung Tau still retains its original wildness with clean water, bringing visitors wonderful experiences.

To get here, visitors will not have to spend too much time traveling because this beach is about 7 km from Vung Tau. From Vung Tau city, just follow road 3.2 to see the sign to turn to Doi Nhai, the wild natural scenery on this route will also bring beautiful pictures for visitors.
Arriving at Doi Nhai beach, visitors will see with their own eyes the windy sandbanks. Although the sea water at Doi Nhai is not as clear as Back Beach in Vung Tau, it is very clean and does not have much rubbish. The sandbank of the beach is also very wide, every time the tide recedes, the sandbank appears extremely eye-catching, bringing a peaceful and gentle natural scene. Above the beach is a spacious poplar hill area and is an extremely suitable place for overnight camping. However, because the beach here is still wild, there are not many food services, so visitors need to prepare food and bring a stove to serve their trip.



Some notes when camping:
- Prepare tents because in some locations like the above it is difficult to find tent rental services.
- Choose a location with flat terrain and open space. Especially when camping near the sea, make sure your camp is not affected by high or low tides.
- Prepare enough food and drinks for eating and living during camping.
- Fully equipped with personal hygiene products, insect repellent, personal first aid kit.
- To protect the wild nature and its unspoiled beauty, when you break camp, please clean up all trash, especially inorganic trash.
