3 tourists injured in bombing in Egypt return to Vietnam

Tomorrow (January 10, 2019), the last 3 tourists of the group affected by the terrorist bombing in Egypt will return to Vietnam by medical plane and will be hospitalized immediately after landing at Tan Son Nhat airport to check their health status.

Doctors at Sheikh Zayed Specialized Hospital (Cairo) confirmed that three Vietnamese tourists being treated here are healthy enough to return home.

Previously, on January 1, 2019, 9 tourists in the group that had the accident returned safely to Vietnam. On January 6, the bodies of the three unfortunate victims were also brought back to their families. The insurance coverage for the deaths is 2.4 billion VND along with the costs of repatriating the bodies. The cases currently under treatment will be paid according to the actual costs, the incurred amount not exceeding 2.4 billion VND.

The bombing on December 28, 2018, located 4 km from the Giza pyramids, killed 3 Vietnamese tourists, an Egyptian tour guide and injured 12 other passengers.
