Three tourists who were victims of the bombing in Egypt are returning to Vietnam.

Tomorrow (January 10, 2019), the last three tourists from the group who were victims of the terrorist bombing in Egypt will return to Vietnam on a medical charter flight and will be hospitalized immediately upon landing at Tan Son Nhat Airport for health checks.

Doctors at Sheikh Zayed Specialized Hospital in Cairo have confirmed that the three Vietnamese tourists currently being treated there are healthy enough to return home.

Previously, on January 1, 2019, nine tourists from the ill-fated tour group safely returned to Vietnam. On January 6, the bodies of the three unfortunate victims were also returned to their families. The insurance payout for the deceased is 2.4 billion VND, along with the costs of repatriating the remains. For those undergoing treatment, the actual costs will be covered, with no additional expenses exceeding 2.4 billion VND.

The bombing on December 28, 2018, 4 km from the Giza pyramids, killed three Vietnamese tourists and an Egyptian tour guide, and injured 12 other passengers.
