Goa is a state of India, located on the western coast of the country. Goa is bordered by Maharashtra to the north and Karnataka to the east and south, and by the Arabian Sea to the west. It is the smallest state in terms of area and the fourth least populous state in India. Despite its small population, Goa has the highest GDP per capita of all the states, 2.5 times higher than the national average.

Mr. K. Srikar Reddy, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, said that India is currently one of the top ten trade partners of Vietnam. Both countries are in the process of completing the trade target of 15 billion USD by 2020. The upcoming direct flight between New Delhi and Ho Chi Minh City will also help both sides cooperate and develop the economy more strongly, including tourism.
